ALBROMET provides technology for plastics-, pipe-, forming technology and mechanical engineering. In plastics technology ALBROMET aluminium bronzes are used as sliding elements for plastic moulds. Copper alloys are excellent materials for better temperature control, adhesion and release properties when used as a mould insert or mould core for mould construction.

ALBROMET has a large warehouse for profile and form rolls for steel pipe production. Here aluminium bronzes of high hardness are used, particularly for the profiling of stainless steel tubing from coils, and for the final welding of the shaped tubes. For further processing of the tubes by cold working, such as pipe bending, ALBROMET is technology leader with the HSC bronzes. Further, ALBROMET offers a fully standardised range of tube bending tools in the diameters 15-117 mm.

In metal forming, especially the forming and deep drawing of stainless steel sheets, ALBROMET castings and forgings are used as tool components. Plate holder and drawing dies for tool construction are usually delivered pre-prepared.

In mechanical engineering, ALBROMET is known as a supplier of sleeve bearings and mechanical components for a wide range of applications. This includes new parts and spare parts for steel mills as well as elements for gripping and positioning for a variety of machines. For milling and drawing plants, ALBROMET is the leading supplier of abrasive strips and overlays for final finishing (round grinding) for round material.

Together with customers, ALBROMET develops solutions for production systems and end products, which can’t be realised with traditional materials due to their special requirements.
